What to cover in a family support letter
- Who you are, your immigration status, and your relationship to the person
- How long you have known them (as family, usually their whole life)
- Their character, and specific examples of their honesty, responsibility, and care for family
- The role they play in the family and the hardship the family would face without them
- A clear, respectful request for favorable consideration
