Your completed document is returned with a tamper-evident digital certificate applied to it. Any change to the file after signing breaks that seal, which is how the receiving party knows the document has not been altered.

A certificate of authenticity and audit trail is attached alongside it, showing the notary’s commission details, the date and time of the act, and the identity verification steps that were completed. The session is also recorded and retained as required by New York law. If anyone ever questions the notarization, that record is the answer.
