Welcome to NotarEaseNYC. By booking and using our notary and mobile notary services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any appointments or transactions.
1. General Terms
- NotarEaseNYC provides professional notary public and mobile notary services within New York State.
- All services are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance.
- Clients must present valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification at the time of service.
- It is the responsibility of the client to ensure all required documents are complete and ready for notarization. Incomplete or unsigned documents may delay or prevent service.
- Clients must be at least 18 years of age to receive notary services.
2. Service Policy
- We do not offer legal advice. We are not attorneys licensed to practice law in New York State, and we may not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if proper documentation is not presented or if the request violates notary law or ethical practices.
3. Fees & Payments
- All service fees must be paid in full at the time of booking or appointment.
- Additional fees apply for:
- Travel outside Brooklyn (rates vary by borough/county)
- After-hours or peak-hour services (see “Peak Hour Pricing”)
- Extra pages, printing, scanning, faxing, and copy services
- Accepted payment methods include cash, debit/credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Stripe (online).
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- This is a non-refundable service.
Once a booking is confirmed and payment is received, the fee is non-refundable under any circumstance. - Rescheduling is allowed.
Clients may reschedule their appointment for another time or transfer the appointment to a friend if needed. - Missed Appointments:
Appointments missed without prior notice are non-refundable. Clients must call or email to arrange a new time. - Late Cancellations:
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a cancellation fee.
No exceptions will be made.
5. Identification Requirements
- All signers must be present and provide valid, unexpired government-issued ID.
- Acceptable forms of ID include:
- Driver’s License or State ID
- Passport (U.S. or foreign)
- Military ID
- Green Card or other DHS-issued documentation
6. Document Requirements
- All documents must be presented in full, including any related instructions.
- All pages must be included and properly filled out (except signature areas, if to be signed in front of the notary).
- NotarEaseNYC is not responsible for errors, omissions, or incompleteness in client documents.
7. Limitations of Service
- NotarEaseNYC does not notarize:
- Blank or incomplete documents
- Wills, Power of Attorney, or legal documents requiring specialized legal counsel (unless specifically authorized by law)
- Documents involving coercion, mental incapacity, or improper identification
8. Client Responsibility
- Clients are responsible for ensuring all information provided during the appointment is accurate.
- Clients must confirm the date, time, and location of service prior to the appointment.
- Any changes should be communicated at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees.
